Contraventional law is a branch of law that deals with the regulation and sanctioning of acts considered contraventions. Misdemeanors are less serious violations of the law, which do not constitute criminal offenses, but which violate legal rules and regulations. Contraventional law establishes the norms and procedures that govern social behavior and defines specific contraventions and the sanctions associated with them.
The office represents the client in matters that have as their object:
- The commission by him of some contraventional acts provided by GEO no. 195/2002 regarding traffic on public roads
- The commission by him of some contraventional acts provided by GEO no. 195/2005 on environmental protection
- The commission by him of some contraventional acts provided by Law no. 50/1991 regarding the authorization of the execution of construction works
In the pre-litigation phase
The office drafts requests, notifications, addresses and points of view in the interest of the client. It provides consultancy to the client in order to resolve, amicably, a dispute of a legal nature and in order to initiate an action before the court. Represents the client before the institution or authority that ordered the contraventional sanctioning of the client.
In the litigious phase
The office formulates complaints, appeals, requests, addresses and written conclusions that it sends to the competent court in the interest of the client. Represents the client and defends his case before the courts, both on the merits of the case and in the ordinary and extraordinary appeals.
